What's in the Standard Edition ($79.99)
The Standard Edition is the complete Grand Theft Auto VI single-player experience — the full campaign starring Lucia and Jason across Leonida. Nothing about the core game is cut from the Standard Edition; the Ultimate tier only adds extras on top.
What the Ultimate Edition ($99.99) adds
The extra $20 unlocks a bundle of exclusive, customization-focused content:
- Exclusive vehicle mod shops — including Rideout Customs in Vice City and One-Eyed Willie's in Lake Leonida, for custom builds you can't get in Standard.
- A classic-car restoration questline — a commission from collector Wyman to track down and restore project cars, including Ultimate-only vehicles.
- An exclusive clothing store — Stock 305 in Stockyard, with looks for both Jason and Lucia.
- Extra cosmetics and Ultimate-only vehicles layered on top of the base game.
The Ultimate Edition Upgrade can be bought separately later, so you're not locked in at pre-order.
Pre-order bonus: the Vintage Vice City Pack
Both editions get the Vintage Vice City Pack when you buy early — included with all digital purchases made by November 20, 2026, and with physical pre-orders while stocks last. It bundles a classic two-tone '55 Vapid Stanier and a garage, vintage outfits and hairstyles for Jason and Lucia, and a retro weapon pattern. On top of that, digital pre-orders (PlayStation Store / Microsoft Store) include 1 free month of GTA+.

Frequently asked questions
How much does GTA 6 cost?
GTA 6 has two confirmed editions: the Standard Edition at $79.99 and the Ultimate Edition at $99.99 — a $20 difference.
What's the difference between Standard and Ultimate?
Both editions are the same full single-player game. The Ultimate Edition adds about $20 of exclusive content: extra vehicle mod shops, a clothing store, a classic-car restoration questline, and Ultimate-only vehicles.
What is the Vintage Vice City Pack?
It's the pre-order bonus, included with all digital purchases made by November 20, 2026 (and physical pre-orders while stocks last). It adds a classic '55 Vapid Stanier and garage, vintage outfits for Jason and Lucia, and a retro weapon pattern.
Do I get GTA+ with my pre-order?
Digital pre-orders (PlayStation Store / Microsoft Store) include 1 free month of GTA+.
Can I upgrade to Ultimate later?
The Ultimate Edition Upgrade can be bought separately later, so you're not locked in at pre-order.
Is the physical version of GTA 6 a disc?
No — the physical box ships with a download code rather than a game disc, so you still install the game digitally. Boxed copies are reported to hit shelves ahead of launch (around November 12, 2026) so you can pre-load before the November 19, 2026 release.
Is there a price difference between PS5 and Xbox?
No. The Standard Edition is $79.99 and the Ultimate Edition is $99.99 on both PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Any gap you see usually comes from a retailer promotion, not Rockstar's list price.
Is there a GTA 6 Collector's Edition?
Not confirmed. Only the Standard and Ultimate editions have been announced so far; a physical Collector's Edition has not been officially confirmed, though Rockstar has released premium physical sets for past games. We'll update this page if one appears.
Is GTA 6 cheaper if you pre-order?
Pre-ordering doesn't lower the list price — Standard stays $79.99 and Ultimate $99.99. The benefit is bonus content: every pre-order includes the Vintage Vice City Pack, and digital pre-orders add a free month of GTA+. See our pre-order guide.
How much will GTA 6 cost on PC?
Not announced. Confirmed for PC, but no date announced — analysts project early 2028. A PC price will likely land near the console figures (around $79.99 for Standard), but that's not officially confirmed.
