GTA Online Kortz Center Heist Arrives July 14 — One of the Last Big Updates Before GTA 6

Rockstar has announced the next major update for Grand Theft Auto Online, and it is arriving sooner than many players anticipated. The Kortz Center Heist drops on July 14, 2026 across all platforms — PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC — and centres on raiding one of Los Santos’ most prestigious cultural landmarks.

What the Kortz Center Heist involves

The Kortz Center, perched on the hills of Pacific Bluffs, houses a collection of priceless international art. The heist tasks players with infiltrating the sprawling complex, scoping out the grounds beforehand, then choosing an approach for both the infiltration and the escape. Rockstar has described multiple approaches available across those two phases, giving groups flexibility in how they tackle the operation.

The heist supports solo play as well as co-op with up to four players, a structure similar to the Cayo Perico Heist introduced in 2020. To host the heist as a leader, players must own a Mansion property and purchase the Art Studio upgrade, which serves as the base of operations for planning the job.

The Fine Art Collector Program

Ahead of the update, Rockstar launched a lead-up event called the Fine Art Collector Program, running through July 13. It offers three reward tiers based on what players do in GTA Online before the heist drops:

• Enthusiast — Log in to GTA Online between June 18 and July 13 to earn GTA$500,000 and a free Benefactor Turreted Limo.
• Patron — Complete any GTA Online Heist in that window to add the NOOSE Outfit and GTA$1,000,000 in bonus cash.
• Elitist — Mansion owners who play during the same period receive a GTA$1,000,000 discount on the Art Studio upgrade, a free Annihilator Stealth helicopter, and a Sculpture alongside a unique unlockable Painting.

The program effectively lets returning players bank meaningful currency and rewards before the heist launches, lowering the barrier to entry for the property requirement.

The bigger picture heading into GTA 6

The Kortz Center Heist is widely regarded as one of the last — and potentially the last — significant content drops for GTA Online before Grand Theft Auto VI arrives on November 19, 2026. Rockstar has not confirmed any further major updates after July, and the studio’s focus is expected to shift entirely toward the new game as launch approaches.

For longtime GTA Online players, the update offers a compelling farewell note: a heist with multiple approaches and genuine replay value, paired with generous pre-event bonuses. Whether this truly marks the final chapter for GTA V content remains unconfirmed by Rockstar, but the timing makes it a natural send-off.
