GTA 6 Pre-Order Prices Confirmed: Standard vs Ultimate Edition Explained
Rockstar has confirmed GTA 6's editions — Standard at $79.99 and Ultimate at $99.99. Here's exactly what the extra $20 buys, plus the Vintage Vice City Pack and GTA+ pre-order perks.
Rockstar has now confirmed how much Grand Theft Auto VI costs and what each edition includes. There are two editions, and the difference between them comes down to a single $20 step and a stack of customization extras. Here’s the clean breakdown.
The two GTA 6 editions and prices
| Edition | Price (USD) |
|---|---|
| Standard Edition | $79.99 |
| Ultimate Edition | $99.99 |
That’s a $20 difference — and importantly, both editions contain the same full single-player game. The campaign starring Lucia and Jason across Leonida is not cut down in the Standard Edition; the Ultimate tier only layers extra content on top.
What the extra $20 (Ultimate Edition) actually buys
The Ultimate Edition adds a bundle of exclusive, customization-focused content:
- Exclusive vehicle mod shops — including Rideout Customs in Vice City and One-Eyed Willie’s in Lake Leonida, for custom builds you won’t get in Standard.
- A classic-car restoration questline — a commission from collector Wyman to track down and restore abandoned project cars, including Ultimate-only vehicles.
- An exclusive clothing store — Stock 305 in Stockyard, with looks for both Jason and Lucia.
- Extra cosmetics and Ultimate-only vehicles on top of the base game.
One useful detail: you don’t have to decide at pre-order. The Ultimate Edition Upgrade can be bought separately later, so you can start on Standard and upgrade if you change your mind.
Pre-order bonus: the Vintage Vice City Pack
Buy early and you get the Vintage Vice City Pack — included with all digital purchases made by November 20, 2026, and with physical pre-orders while stocks last. It bundles a classic two-tone ‘55 Vapid Stanier and a garage, vintage outfits and hairstyles for Jason and Lucia, and a retro weapon pattern.
On top of that, digital pre-orders through the PlayStation Store or Microsoft Store include one free month of GTA+.
