GTA 6 Collector's Edition Hinted at by FNAC Listings Topping 199 Euros

French retailer FNAC reportedly listed five GTA 6 PS5 SKUs from 89.99 to 199.99 euros ahead of pre-orders, fueling collector's edition speculation. Nothing is officially confirmed.

Days before GTA 6 pre-orders were due to open, French electronics chain FNAC reportedly published a set of placeholder product pages that sent fans scrambling. According to multiple outlets, the retailer listed five separate PlayStation 5 SKUs for the game, with prices climbing from 89.99 euros all the way up to 199.99 euros (roughly $229). The top-end figure immediately revived speculation that Rockstar is planning a premium collector’s edition alongside the standard release.

What the FNAC listings reportedly showed

Coverage describes five tiers, often labelled internally as RS1 through RS5, priced at 89.99, 99.99, 109.99, 119.99, and 199.99 euros. Several listings carried a November 19, 2026 date. Observers read the spread as a likely standard edition near the bottom, one or two deluxe or premium versions in the middle, and a flagship collector’s edition at the top, possibly bundling physical extras such as a steelbook or merchandise plus in-game bonuses like GTA Online currency or early access.

It is worth stressing that none of this has been officially confirmed. The tier structure and what each price actually includes are entirely speculative, based only on a retailer’s pre-launch placeholder pages rather than anything from Rockstar Games or Take-Two.

Why you should treat these numbers cautiously

The reporting was unusually careful to hedge, and for good reason. FNAC placeholder listings regularly use temporary SKUs, generic product names, and prices that do not match final retail. Currency conversions, VAT, and regional pricing differences can also shift the headline numbers significantly between markets.

Adding to the skepticism, well-known industry leaker billbil-kun reportedly cautioned that the SKUs looked like placeholders carrying essentially random prices, not a genuine pricing reveal. In other words, the 199.99 euro collector’s edition figure should be viewed as tentative at best.

The realistic takeaway: the leak is a strong hint that multiple editions exist, which is standard for a release of this scale, but the exact prices and contents remain unverified until Rockstar makes an official announcement. With pre-orders reportedly slated to open shortly after these listings surfaced, fans should not have to wait long for confirmed details.
